The Pocket is a funky & intimate music venue at 7DrumCity at 1508 North Capitol St NW DC. For this branding project, I designed the music venue logo as well as the merchandise and event posters.
All assets were designed to embody the funky, retro, community-friendly vibe of the larger 7DrumCity brand.
I used a bold and playful retro typeface for The Pocket logo. I utilized colors from 7DrumCity’s logo, which is The Pocket’s parent business. The forms above the type symbolize a sound wave and mimic the round corners of the letterforms.
I designed an event poster with a visual system that could be adapted for every month.
